What is God's name?

His name is God. In the Bible, different names were used to describe different aspects of God’s character. It’s also I Am, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Immanuel (God is with us), Jehovah (self-existent or eternal), Elohim (God the Creater), El Roi (the God who sees), Jehovah-Rapha (the God who heals), Jehovah-Shammah (the Lord is there), El Elyon (God Most High), Jehovah-Sabaoth (the Lord of Hosts)……this list is HUGE and goes on. Of course, the name for God that we lift up the highest is Jesus. With names used to describe God's character, there is just SO MUCH of Him to know. It’s wonderful to get to know more about God through learning His various names.
