Why do some kids smoke? Do they think it’s cool or something, because it’s not?

I wish I could answer that question. I ask myself the same thing when I see young people smoking. Yes, I do think they are trying to be cool and maybe trying to impress their friends. I can guarantee it might seem cool to them today but it will be something they regret later in life. Perhaps kids just want to “try” smoking because other people smoke. Maybe, nobody has taken the time to warn the kids of the dangers or perhaps the kids don’t care enough about themselves to want what is best for them. It is hard to say why people do some of the things they do. I’m with you though, smoking is NOT cool and it does not look cool.
